Floral Lantern

Hi, it's Thursday again (I swear I say that more than once a week!) so that means it's my turn to share on the

This week I've chosen to decorate a gorgeous 3D Lantern by Anemone.
After constructing it (secured with acrylic glue) I added a selection of absolutely stunning flowers
now available at Love to Craft & Create.

I used a little Galeria Papieru - As if in a Dream paper to decorate the lid of the lantern.
Other items used are Pink Pomegranate Apples, some Berries in Off White, Green and Light Orange,
White Pearl Stamens, some string pearls and Fuchsia Satin Ribbon.
The lantern is a really good size when finished, standing at about 8.5".

I added some small battery powered tea-lights, it looks so pretty at night, although I couldn't quite capture just how pretty in my photos (photography is really not my thing).

Don't forget to pop over to the Love To Craft & Create blog to see lots of beautiful inspiration
from the rest of the Design Team.

For my lovely friend

Hi guys, just popping by with my inspiration post for
I'm really into making handmade flowers at the moment so I have made some to go with these gorgeous Lemoncraft paper - never ending summer/ Lazy everything using both sides,
I love this paper very much, it is also available as part of a paper pack, so I'm off to order some more !!!
I distressed the edges and raised the front up with foam pads, by doing this and you can easily add some embellishments on the side as I have done using the lovely Scrapiniec doily lace chipboards,
if you cut these down with scissors you get more for your money too, these I have lightly stained with distress ink first before gluing down with the fabulous magic glue,

To add interest to my flowers I took the base layer of a Royal Borders which comes in a set of two, these look fabulous put together but I had used one of the top pieces on my last project shown on my blog so I just coloured up the base again with distress ink, using  them this way looks beautiful too, and again you get two for the price of one,  lol
In between the flowers I added small hints of the mesh background also by Scrapiniec, these all go together beautifully,

Do check out these and all the latest gorgeous products Monika has in her store, including some gorgeous new chipboards,
Happy Crafting!!!

Dream

It’s my turn to share on the Love To Craft & Create blog today.
Ever since I first received my DT starter parcel back in March I’ve been wanting to use this
UHK Gallery paper Mademoiselle Antoinettesuch pretty colours.

I’ve used a pretty laser cut chipboard butterfly from
Wycinanka - Summer Wedding - Decors with Butterflies set of 3
as the main focal point and added a subtle touch of colour to complement it.

The lace and string pearls, along with the papers and butterfly are available to buy from Love To Craft & Create.
There are hundreds more gorgeous papers and embellishments to tempt you, with new items being added regularly,
so why not pop over to the shop to take a look!
