More creative designers :)

Hello my crafty friends :)
I have some good news... very good news...
I am proud to present 2 new members of my Design Team...
very talented and creative ladies!!!

Hi, I’m Claire,
I live in Surrey/Greater London with my husband and three sons.
I have been a graphic designer for over 30 years
and have been drawing and creating since I was a child
and have done many creative things throughout the years.

I have made cards - as well as wedding and party invites - on and off for years,
but I got seriously hooked about three years ago after making
my best friend’s wedding stationery.
Card making and paper crafts has become my passion;
some call it an obsession!

I love creating from scratch,
using pretty papers, adding die cuts and cutting into them;
I like to add a bit of sewing to my paper projects,
gorgeous flowers, muslins, tulles and lace…
I just love it all :)
I don’t think I have a particular style,
bold or delicate, shabby or chic, elegant or grungy;
I love to do them all.

I am very excited and honoured
to be asked to join the Love to Craft & Create Design Team
and I’m looking forward to sharing projects
made using the gorgeous products from Monika’s shop :)

Hello, My name is Sue

I have made a memory book for each one of them
and even made my daughter's wedding book.
I have always worked for the NHS lots of years
but unfortunately my health has not been so great the last few years.
I have my own craft room its my favourite place to be.
I hope i give you all inspiration from my work.
As this is such honour to be asked as Guest DT...
we all are very hard on our own work
I never believed id be given this chance...
I'm thrilled to bits.

Rose Garden

Hello everyone :)
I hope you are having a nice weekend so far...
Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances beyond her control
Sandra had to leave our Design Team.
It's a very sad news as she is not only an amazing crafter,
but amazing person as well.
We will miss her xxx

But she is not leaving without a final bit of inspiration prepared especially for you :)

Good Morning everyone
This is my Little bit of Inspiration for you today - a 6 x 6 Fold Back card
Matted and Layered using
Craft & You Design Rose Garden 12x12 Paper Pad.
These Papers are of the Best quality. I just adore them.

I then added Park Avenue Round Frames from Scrapiniec.
The smallest one to the centre on the Front fold
and lined up the larger one on the Back of the card.

The Resin Piece sits perfectly onto the Chipboard frame.

When you take out the frames from there packaging you get a small circle from the center of the small frame I have covered this in the same papers and added a sentiment .

with added Flowers to match the papers

Crafty Hugs to you all S xx

Easter criss cross card...

Hi, Liz here with a criss cross card
I've made for Easter using the lovely papers from Craft & You Design - Easter Greetings.

On the outside I used the 12 x 12 and the liner on the inside of the card I used one of the papers from the 6 x 6 paper pad.

On the front I took the gorgeous Royal Easter - Egg 02
I  coloured the back piece with some distress ink in Dusty Concord
then adhered the front on using  some of the fabulous Magic Glue
this glue is brilliant for adhering the chipboard together.

I finished off the card with some of the really rich looking ribbon in purple
and some feathers and die cuts from my stash.

See you next week,
Happy crafting!!
Hugs Liz xx

Easter Does not have to be Yellow

Good Morning, Sandra here.
It's my turn today to share.
It wont be long and Easter will be here so I thought I would make some 3d Eggs
as a bit of Inspiration for you.

This is a cutting file I purchased for the Silhouette Cameo.

The Royal Easter Egg 1 and 4  fits lovely over the opening.

You could fill them full of treats or just use as decorations.

I'm not a fan of Yellow so I have used Lemon Craft Forget-me-not no 3

The chipboard takes Distress inks really well.

Thanks for Looking
Hope you call  by the shop
